I Saw The Devil | Kim Soo-hyeon

I'm back in the saddle with one of my most ambitious characters in a long while! I Saw The Devil directed by Kim Jee-woon is a horrifically dark and massively powerful work of cinema and it blew me away and haunted me days after seeing it so I just knew I had to create a render for it. I initially intended for it to be a photorealistic sculpt but in all honesty, going for a stylized approach allowed me to take a few handy dandy shortcuts and the result has turned out far better than I had hoped. While I'm quite embarrassed by how poor my workflow was during sculpting and lighting and I know I could've done a lot better, I am quite happy with how it turned out and finally finishing it has dramatically increased my motivation! As always, open to any and all criticisms!
