Thunder Road - Jim Cummings

Thunder Road (the short and feature film) written, directed and performed by Jim Cummings changed my view on filmmaking forever and for the better, as a love letter and as a thank you to Jim I spent the past month modelling and sculpting his appearance in Thunder Road! Blending 3D with 2D I've managed to make my render look almost completely like a painting and I'm super proud of the result!
Jim Cummings has been a huge inspiration to me ever since I saw Thunder Road, film is my biggest passion but I never would've dreamed of trying to pursue filmmaking until I saw it. Now, over a year later I am dedicating almost all my time to film study and am slowly learning to screenwrite, as of today (perfect timing) I'm in the drafting phases of my first screenplay for a short film I've been preparing for all year!
So needless to say, this is a very special render to me, Jim is one of my biggest hero's, if you haven't seen Thunder Road (the short and feature film) I highly highly recommend it, it is a beautiful, hilarious and emotional work of cinema made completely without the help of Hollywood. (also while you're at it, check out his 2nd feature film The Wolf of Snow Hollow, it's also incredible!)
I had so much fun making this render and I'm over the moon proud of how it turned out, as always, open to any and all criticism!
